A delegation of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (Dubna) discussed a planned network of precision laser inclinometers (PLI) in Armenia. Director Jon Karapetyan was one of the main speakers at the seminar held at the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences.
The next day the delegation visited the institute in Gyumri and its geophysical observatory in Gyulagarak, where conditions for hosting the new instruments were already in place.
